$1.77 Gasoline in New Jersey Today

$1.77 Gasoline in New Jersey Today

For the past couple of years, I had 2 twenty dollar bills ready and told the gas station attendant to put in $40 worth of regular. Without a surcharge as in many other states, gas stations in New Jersey pump the gas into your car without exception to my knowledge. When gas prices were high, the $40 would just about fill up my car. The last couple of weeks, I have been getting change back and was thrilled.

On the news today, a barrel of oil was under $50 for a while, which should enable gasoline prices to go lower.

Today would be a good day to get the car filled with gasoline and to obtain any gasoline you need for the leaf blower and the snow blower.

When oil was high earlier in the year, I was billed $5.099 for a gallon of home heating oil which should be much cheaper with the next delivery. Recently the market for home heating oil was around $2 where I expect the delivery price to my home should be under $3.

Gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel surcharges and most price hikes on most merchandise due to increased delivery charges should be should be eliminated.

It seems that just about all businesses raised prices the past year even though they were not affected by the excessive oil prices, and they should be horsewhipped.

With all of America's economic problems excessive surcharges and over inflated prices are un-American and those businesses and products should be boycotted.

If prices are reduced, than Americans can have a much better Christmas than last year. All businesses should be encouraged to rollback their prices. Maybe, America's economic picture will be brighter in that case.

We have to give our merchants an earful as well as our elected officials. We should also boycott the businesses that needlessly raised their prices and do not lower them. At least they should rollback their prices for the Holiday season.
