John McCain Bad Decision Making Over Sarah Palin

John McCain Bad Decision Making Over Sarah Palin

Presidential hopeful John McCain made all sorts of bad decisions over Sarah Palin and expects the voters to be happy over them.

First he chose her as a runnning mate. Talk about her skills and experience as being light weight... Her claim to fame was being governor of Alaska, the largest state in size of land area, but with only 600,000 people for a very short period of time.

Sarah Palin has no national or international political experience. She is a hawk on oil energy which her state has plenty of but America has been falling behind in oil drilling requiring even more foreign oil. The oil industry has not been fast enough to even replace the wells that are old and producing a lot less than they did earlier. There are millions of acres of Federal oil leases that the oil companies have not been active at all for the last 10 to 20 years that they forfeit as a penalty for doing nothing and to be resold to companies willing and able to invest in producing oil. It is a lie to say that offshore drilling will save America because it is unlikely much will occur there also. It takes up to 10 years for new drilling to be productive where oil can be pumped to storage or refineries for use by Americans.

Megabucks John McCain knew Sarah Palin was new to the Presidential race and would have to be brought along carefully. John McCain has hundreds of paid workers and could afford additional consultants to polish Sarah Palin before the public and media. John McCain has many finance people to oversee spending for the candidates on the trail across the country to make sure budgets and the law are followed.

Megabucks John McCain failed to groom Sarah Palin to run as his Vice President. It is obvious when you watch her interviews with the media. They say that binders were dropped into her lap and she was told to study the material on her own. When someone has such a long way to go with her studies, a formal tutorial plan should have been established. It should have been multi media. Some should have been lecture based. Some should have been team conversational based. Megabuck millionaire McCain should have hired a professional trainer.

Megabuck millionaires John McCain and his wife Cindy McCain should have thought through Sarah Palin's travel requirements to run as Vice President. Sarah Palin likes to take her whole family including her husband and children on her trips. She would be appearing several times from sunrise to midnight each day in from of crowds and the media. Sarah Palin and her husband are no where as wealthy as John McCain and his wife.

The $150,000 worth of clothes for Sarah Palin and her family purchased by the Republican National Party was a lot and a surprise to the nation. I do not think it was clear to Sarah Palin what her budget for running mate really was. I believe she went shopping with mega millionaire Cindy McCain and Cindy McCain encouraged her to buy many of the outfits. I am surprised that Cindy McCain did not give Sarah Palin a tractor trailer load of her slightly used clothes which she could have afforded to give away from the closets of her 8 homes.

I acknowledge that it would be difficult to fund a female vice president wardrobe and travel for her husband and children from her $125,000 salary as Governor of Alaska so some sort of allowance should have beeen made for her by John McCain. Her travel from place to place should have included her husband and children and arranged by John McCain and his staff.

Sarah Palin charged travel expenses for her children to the State of Alaska should never have happened because she is not representing Alaska during her Vice Presidential public and media travels. McCain should have made sure that Sarah Palin was able to travel under guidelines and expenses paid by the RNC.

John McCain ran the training and the travel expense planning and funding including wardrobe of Sarah Palin like an idiot. It should have been easy for him or his delegate to do. Maybe John McCain thinks everyone including Sarah Palin are mega wealthy like him.

If I was Sarah Palin I would resent the training and funding of her role of Vice President by John McCain. It could of all been handled better and more professionally.

If John McCain cannot manage simple tasks like picking and grooming his Vice President how will he manage the country?
